Earlier this year, Los Retros released his EP Looking Back, which includes our favourite silky soul track 'It's Got to Be You'. Now, the Californian artist drops a new single 'Solo Tú' alongside a video featuring Los Retros traveling through open landscapes on several modes of transportation, delivering a heartfelt performance. Fitting with his name, the new single has a retro feel as the instruments move through breezy soul and Los Retros sings in Spanish, repeating the line 'Solo Tú', translating to 'Only You'. Mauri Tapia of Los Retros explains “Solo Tú is a message to my wife about how she is the only one I long for, regardless of the circumstances. The instrumental itself was heavily inspired by many bands who made Romanticas in the 70s. I wanted to make a Romantica that sounded like it could have been on one of my father’s CDs from the swapmeet.”.
